Sample answer · Oregon Code Assistant
Do I need AFCI protection on bathroom receptacles in Oregon?

No — bathroom receptacles in Oregon require GFCI protection per NEC 210.8(A)(1), but not AFCI. Oregon's amendment to NEC 210.12 (OESC Table 1-E) lists the dwelling unit areas requiring AFCI; bathrooms are not included. Oregon does, however, add alcoves to the AFCI list.[1][2]
